| Situation
As
seems to give evidence of its Gallic name "
Séno Mago ": the ancient Camp, the first
occupation is hunters' camp dated of Mésolithique
(-8050). Discovered on the same site, of human representations

to the chalcolithique ( 2500 ). As for the current
village, it appears towards 1150 and develops
around a strong house, around a mill and around
ovens, Properties of families Piglet, Jarente and
Benault-Lubières.
A
chapel State-owned set up as 1140 will become later
saint's parochial church Amand. A donjon with addition
of late buildings will become castle of Sailing
in the XVIIIth century. itwill be destroyed in 1792.
For the rest, the history Of Sénas becomes
confused with the history of France.
