| History
In
the northeas of the of the Alpilles hills, this
typically Provencal village, dominated by the ruins
of the ancient fortress of the Duke of Guise and
of the Chapel Notre dame de Beauregard, is rich
in prestigious past.
Roads
were marked out by oratories, strengthened doors,
facades revivals, are So many treasures as you can
discover by walking in Orgon.
Numerous
vestiges of neolithic age were found in the valley
of Lavau, and it is likely that Oppidum celto-ligure
existed on the hill of Mountain Sauvy (Mountain
of Salviens).
